DINNERPLATE / LOCAL VIDEO EDITOR

Privacy Notice

Your tool inputs are processed on your device. Website delivery and external services are separate.

Effective October 15, 2026 · Last updated October 18, 2026

The application does not send your imported files, recordings, project contents, custom fonts, or text inputs to a processing server. The website and its bundled software still need to be downloaded from the hosting service. That service may process technical request and security data under its own policies.

1. Who to contact

This notice covers dinnerplate, Notes, Local Audio Editor, Local Photo Editor, Local Video Editor, and 3D Modeler maintained by yapperyap. For privacy questions or requests, contact yapperyapemail@proton.me. It does not describe the independent practices of the hosting provider, your browser, your device, or sites reached through external links.

2. What the application does with your data

DataUse and storageYour controls
Files, media, text, and tool inputsProcessed in browser memory. Results are downloaded only when you choose to save them. The application does not upload these inputs.Leave the tool or close the tab to stop its active session. Keep track of files you download.
Camera and microphoneAccess starts after you request a device tool and grant browser permission. Recordings and playback remain local.Stop recording, disable the device, leave the tool, or revoke permission in your browser.
Video/photo editor projects, layers, original/converted/proxy media, and fontsSaved in this browser’s IndexedDB for project recovery and switching. Autosave controls automatic background saving; creating, importing, switching, cloning, or explicitly saving a project can also save the current work locally. They are not synchronized between devices by the application.Disable autosave in Settings; delete video or photo projects in their project lists, download media-inclusive or editable backups; or clear application data below.
Favorites, themes, interface settings, and panel sizesSaved locally in this browser to keep your choices across visits.Change or reset settings, clear favorites, or clear application data below.
Messages you choose to emailThe maintainer receives your address, message, and any attachments through the email service. These are used to respond, resolve the issue, and maintain necessary correspondence or legal records.Choose what to send. Contact the same address to request access, correction, or deletion where applicable.

Notes and audio workspaces

Notes, folders, Markdown preferences, pins, and trashed notes are stored in this browser’s IndexedDB. Trash keeps a note until you permanently delete it. Local Audio Editor may save its current project and imported/recorded audio in IndexedDB for recovery. Neither workspace uploads contents or syncs between devices. Use notebook and editable audio-project backups to keep independent copies. These files and local databases are not encrypted by the application. Clear application data also removes these workspaces; downloaded backups remain on your disk. Markdown remote images and raw HTML are not loaded or executed. Following a Markdown link can open an external website.

3D Modeler workspace

3D Modeler projects, imported mesh coordinates, object settings, and groups are processed on this device. Named 3D Modeler and audio projects, including source audio files, are stored in the local project library. Its project list supports cloning and permanent deletion; downloaded backups stay on disk. The current 3D Modeler project may be saved in the browser’s IndexedDB when autosave is enabled. Save project downloads an editable .dinnercad backup; STL, OBJ, FBX, and 3MF exports contain mesh geometry. They are not encrypted or synchronized. Clear application data also removes the saved 3D Modeler project. No model-processing service receives your designs.

3. Hosting and technical data

This site is delivered through ChatGPT Sites and its infrastructure providers. Website requests necessarily reveal information such as an IP address, requested resource, browser information, and request time to the delivery service. The provider may also process security, authentication, cookies, or similar data under its own policies. The application maintainer does not control all hosting-provider collection, retention, or international processing.

See OpenAI's Privacy Policy for its practices and available choices. The application does not add advertising trackers, third-party analytics scripts, remote font embeds, or a file-upload processing endpoint. This statement does not claim that visiting a hosted website produces no technical logs.

Optional speech-model download

Automatic captions are optional and run on this device using Whisper Tiny English. The recognition runtime is bundled with the application. If you enable the model-download toggle, the browser requests model files from Hugging Face and its delivery providers; those providers receive request metadata such as your IP address and browser information. Audio and video are not sent with those requests. You can instead select a previously downloaded model folder to avoid model-network requests. Cached model files can be removed with Clear application data or your browser storage controls. Speech recognition can be inaccurate; review captions before sharing them.

4. External links and contributions

Contact, donation, credit, and software-source links open external services only when you choose to follow them. Email uses your email app/provider. Contributions take place on Ko-fi and the payment service selected there. The application itself does not collect payment-card information. Information you submit to these services is governed by their own terms and privacy notices; information you voluntarily send the maintainer may be received by the maintainer. No Ko-fi payment widget or GitHub tracker is embedded in the tools.

5. Retention, local access, and security

Local preferences and saved editor projects remain until you clear them, replace the project, or your browser removes them. There is no guaranteed retention period or recovery service. People with access to your browser profile, device, backups, or synchronized device data may be able to view locally stored information. The application does not add its own password protection or encryption to saved projects. Use device security and avoid shared browser profiles for private files.

Disabling autosave stops future automatic saves; it does not erase an existing saved project. Downloaded exports and project files are outside the site's storage controls. The maintainer cannot remotely retrieve, restore, or delete files that stay only on your device. Email correspondence is kept as reasonably needed to handle the request, maintain necessary records, and meet applicable obligations; deletion requests will be considered subject to those obligations.

6. Your choices and requests

You can deny or revoke device permissions, turn off autosave, clear local application data, stop using the site, and control provider cookies through your browser or the provider. Depending on the laws that apply to you, you may have additional rights relating to information actually held about you, including access, correction, deletion, objection, or a complaint to a regulator. Contact yapperyapemail@proton.me with your request. A request may require proportionate identity verification. Local-only project contents are not available to the maintainer.

Clears this site's saved projects, notes, media, fonts, favorites, themes, and panel settings. Does not delete downloaded files, emails, contributions, or hosting-provider cookies.

7. Browser storage and regional requests

Settings → Preference storage lets you turn off remembering appearance and navigation preferences. This removes existing site-managed appearance/navigation preferences and stops reading or writing them while the choice is off; current-page changes can still work in memory. A small local marker remembers the objection. Requested project/notes storage and explicitly saved text styles are separate and remain available. Clear application data removes site-managed data, including this marker. The application does not set advertising or behavioral-analytics cookies and does not load such trackers before a choice. Hosting-service cookies and records are outside this control.

The application uses localStorage for preferences you choose and IndexedDB for requested project recovery and project-list functionality. The optional speech model uses browser cache storage. These are local storage technologies, not a claim that hosted requests leave no logs. No advertising, behavioral analytics, or marketing cookie is added by the application. Hosting-provider storage is governed by the provider’s own policies. There is no application sale of personal information, targeted advertising, or profiling; the application adds no such processing when it receives a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal.

Project-list saves are local even when initiated by a switch or clone action. Closing a tab does not erase saved projects. The application does not impose its own retention deadline on saved browser projects. To remove a project, use Delete in its project list; to remove all site-managed projects and settings, use Clear application data. An exported backup remains on disk until you delete it.

If you are in a jurisdiction that grants privacy rights, contact the maintainer for information actually held by the maintainer, such as correspondence. A privacy notice alone does not determine which laws apply. The maintainer must assess applicable legal bases, required disclosures, retention, and any required representative or regulator information for its operation and audience. Browser-only work is not remotely accessible to the maintainer.

8. Children and updates

This site is not directed to children under 13. The application does not intentionally collect children's personal information. If you believe a child has sent personal information to the maintainer, contact yapperyapemail@proton.me so the concern can be investigated.

Changes to application data handling will be reflected here with an updated date. New collection or consent requirements, if introduced, must be addressed before that collection occurs.
